    Creative Brief

    We will have a quick phone call to decide on the story to produce, and work out the plan for the shoot. Then a finalized production schedule will be emailed to you, including interview questions.

    Film your story

    The fun part! We will film the conversation/interview first, then on to the B-roll, drone shots, or whatever else is best for your story.

    Deliver

    You will get an email that has nicely organized links for you to download your finished video, social media clips, and more - ready to share!

    How are these videos so affordable?

    Healthy and productive constraints! Much of what goes into a video project is not directly serving the story at hand, and when you have only a day to do it, things tend to come together quickly!

    What if I want to make a more elaborate video than what you are offering?

    This is not for everyone. Higher end projects take a lot of time, and major investment. Our docs can help you test the ideas and effectiveness of the content with your audience.

    How long will my video be?

    In his Lettres Provinciales, the French philosopher and mathematician Blaise Pascal famously wrote: "I would have written a shorter letter, but I did not have the time."

    Why the documentary style?

    The documentary style can be stylized, but the main focus is getting to the heart of the story through the voices of those featured.

    Can I request revisions or changes?

    Generally, no. That is how these are kept to only $1,000. If t here is an egregious editing mistake or misspelled title card, of course that will be corrected for you.

    Can I have the raw footage too?

    No. One Day Documentaries retains ownership of the footage, and you will only receive the finished piece.

    What if I don't like the video?

    You will love it. If for some reason you don't, I will work with you.

    Do you require payment up front?

    No - but getting paid sooner than later is awesome. You will be invoiced, and can pay by credit card, bank transfer, or check. Fill out the booking form, and let's make your project happen.

    One Day Documentaries was founded in 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. After 20+ years in media production, filmmaking, marketing, and creative fields, the opening for approachable video storytelling for everyone was clear.

     

    Video projects are often bloated, overly expensive, and have too many cooks in the kitchen - resulting in watered down, less effective content. The concept of One Day Documentaries came clear during the pandemic - what is necessary, and what is fluff have never been more evident. The need for human stories has never been greater.

     

    Professional quality video content with a soul is now within reach for everyone from marketing teams, small business owners, to self-employed artists and creators.
